Offside only resets when a defender DELIBERATELY plays the ball (a controlled action, not a save or deflection), which did not happen here. So #4 became an active offside player by scoring the rebound, which is an offside offence. CORRECT DECISION, HIGH confidence — the goal was rightly chalked off.
